Installed in the early 80's, the Corkscrew would be the last major Coaster added to the Park and would remain a popular attraction until the Park closed. The American Coaster Enthusiasts held an outing at the Corkscrew's grand opening and legend says that group members took part in marathon riding for upwards of 11 straight hours.

The Corkscrew was sold to Six Flags Wild Waves Enchanted Forest and renamed “Wild Thing” and supposedly still operates to this day.
