Located on Narragansett Bay in Warwick RI, Rocky Point Amusement Park was once known as the playground of New England for over 150 years. It had a rich history that spanned over several generations and in its heyday, boasted attendance records of over 75,000 people. At one time it was the 2nd oldest Amusement Park in America.
The Park officialy closed its doors in 1995 and would remain abandoned for more than 15 years.
This page is meant to serve as a memorial to the park's forgotten landmarks and long gone attractions. Following the release of Tales of Rocky Point Park, new attractions will be added in order to memorialize the Park.
Each attraction will contain photos and historical information as well as a comment section. Dialogue and discussion is encouraged as a way to share Rocky Point memories and perhaps get to the truth behind some of its legends...
